The year 2012 has been a fruitful one. Fruitful meaning a new baby, a new business venture and new friendship that formed.
Looking back, I regretted many things. Things that I had done and wished I could go back and change it. Regret for some friendship that I lost, but we must all look forward and be positive! It's a new year and it will be a good year for all of us!
Let me welome 2013 with all the positive vibe! haha!
2013 year of the water snake, please be good to all of us!
Cheers to more adventure, to more bloopers and more friendships to be formed!

My pain management during CS
Before giving birth, we discuss my pain management with my OB. She said it would be basically the same as last time. My last pain management consist of epidurial anesthesia, morphine injected at the back 2x and oral pain releiver (dolfenal).
On the day of my operation, my anesthesiologist told me to bend so that he could inject my anesthesia at my lower spine and also the tube that would be use for the injection of morphine.
After operation, i was ushered back to my room to rest. When i woke up my world was spinning and i had to vomit! It was hard because i still can't get up, so that i vomitted on myself! Yuck right! Anyway, since i had no solid intake, i vomited green watery stuff. Later i found out it was bile. The nurse had to change my bedding and my dress. I really hated that i can't even help myself to dress. After that incident, i thought i would be okay, but hello.. I vomited again! This time i had a plastic bag ready haha! But i already asked the nurse not to give me anymore morphine, since this was the cause of my vomitting. After that day, since the 1st injection of morphine was slowly leaving my system, i could feel the pain on my abdomen. I still had to get up and walk to the nursery to breastfeed. Anyway, i still had dolfenal every 8 hours, so the pain was a little bearable.
Will tell you my breastfeeding journey the 2nd time around on my next post!

A daughter this time
I know i'm lagging in post. Been very busy with a newborn and a toddler! Thank god for yayas' and grandmas'!
I gave birth last Oct 2 at around 9:59 am at Mkt med to a 6.3lbs baby girl! She is a little bigger from her big brother, who was born at 5.13lbs.
I have to stay at the hospital for 4 days because of a ceasarian section and my catheter wasn't removed at once. I also vomited 2x even though i haven't eaten post op. this is due to the morphine that was injected to me for the pain. That will be in another post.
Welcome to the world Carynne Brooke Leang-Lim! My little Cua Pao!
