Organized.. NOT!

My son's 1st birthday is coming soon! And I've only booked the caterer and photobooth! The following are things I still need:

1. Foodcarts - For the kids and adults. Maybe French Fries, Ice cream, Hotdogs or Longganiza sticks and Coffee?
2. Storyteller - Instead of clowns and magicians, I opted for a storyteller to keep our 2-7 yrs old kids entertained.
3. Face painting or henna tattoo?
4. Balloons - I think we need to dress up our whole house to make it lively for guests attending.
5. Lechon - Elars or General's Lechon?
6. CAKE!!!
7. Vegetarian food - I have visitors who are strictly vegetarians and that includes my dad! hehe! I just need food trays.
8. Invitations!

So much to do yet so little time..

Singapore with my 7 mos old (Day1)

I was very skeptic going abroad and flying the plane with just a 7 month old baby. I was worried to bits and even search the net what to do during flights! Someone told me to use two cups with warm towelette inside and put it around the ears. This didn't work.. tsktsk! What work though is breastfeeding! It's a life saver for me and my baby. He slept through the flight and that was a 3 and a half flight. When he woke up, we already were in singapore! yehey! Love my baby!

What's more, when we got to immigration, we didn't even line up! All 6 of us including my baby were ushered to a VIP counter. This was because I was carrying my baby and people in Singapore prioritized people with baby, disable, old people and pregnant persons.

That's the long queue in immigration!
We were at the budget terminal, so we have to find the yellow bus outside to go to terminal 2.
It just took us 5-10 mins getting to terminal 2 and from there we took the MRT going to our hotel. What a big mistake! Carrying a baby and luggages was such a hassle. I wished we took the bus or the taxi!
Upon checking in at holiday Inn Orchard road, we went hunting for Singaporean food! Famished already and very very tired..

To cut everything, after eating we went to HSBC along Orchard, openned an account, got my SGD500 guft certificate which we could only use at Marina Bay Sands shoppes. Went straight to Marina Bay and there spend the rest of our day!

Hay! One day was not enough for Marina Bay, I wanted to eat at No Signboard but I can't find it!!! Ggrrr! We went to Esplanade and eat at some hawker food. It was still good though. Went home at around 11pm that day.

Haircut by Alex Carbonell

My last haircut was done last Nov 2010 before i gave birth at Basement Salon, Shangrila. Although I love my cut it grew out and became very unmanageable. It's time for me to look for a permanent hairdresser that would take care of my hair. After searching the net and reading reviews, I decided to try Alex Carbonell in Greenbelt 5.

I set my appointment at 12nn, Sat So that I could avoid the crowd.

When I arrived, Alex noticed that my hair is "buhaghag"his term is fuzzy. Haha! It's always like that since my highschool days. Anyway, he was like a doctor to my hair. Telling me that my scalp is oily but have dundruff and yet my hair is so dry. he recommend to me Kerastase Age recharge line. hhmmm... (checks wallet) Maybe I would buy it next month hehe! After his hands works magic to my hair..

Tada! Love my new cut! After two days of shampoo and no blowdry. My hair is still manageable and no flyaways! Amazing! I finally found my hairdresser! *sigh* I'll definitely be back! *wink*
