J.Co

I just gave birth to my daughter and now in Gue-lai mode! Woohoo! My family also visited me at home and brought me this delicious J.Co! I'm very happy and thankful to them that I couldn't resist taking 1 and giving 1 to my hubby before taking a picture! haha!

I specially love the green tea and the macadamia donut! Their donuts are not too sweet.

Thanks shobe, wayne, sally, mommy and papa for this yummy treat!

Lugang for a sunday family day

We made it a point to eat out as a family for sunday lunch or dinner. And we love love Lugang cafe!

They even give my son plates and spoon eventhough he won't be eating their food haha! I always bring home cooked food for him.

The white chicken was so tender that the meat fall off. Just loved the taste of this, just refreshing!

before I could took a picture, someone ate one siao long bao already! haha! You can say that it has to be that delicious that someone can't wait! teehee!

Pig ears cooked like the above picture has to be my hubby's favorite! It's the perfect appetizer for our meal.

This one is minced pork, it was ok but so little serving! Hoped it came in big servings also.

We had 2 kinds of rice, fookien rice was the first one to arrive. Nothing special about it.

I don't eat kidney because of the aftertaste, but this I had one too many because of the sauce.

Last to arrive was the pineapple fried rice. Nothing special also, it only came in with the chopped pinapple. haha!

A cupcakes by Slice!

I have been salivating the cupcakes of Slice ever since I read about it. And when it's time for my baby shower, I made sure that we ordered cupcakes for everyone!

My verdict? The best is the Red velvet next is the yema! Those m&ms cupcakes tasted too sweet for me.

Coffee and tea after, to washed down those sweet after taste!

Checkin In at Makati Med

All my bags are packed and I'm ready to give birth! On Oct 1, after lunch, we went to Mkt Med to check in. My OB told me to stay the night because there are going to be test that have to be done before the actual operation on Oct 2, 9am.

This is the room we took, compared to last time this was smaller. It was a full house that week and we opted to take the small private room OB ward because I'm sure there won't be any visitors except immediate family and my 2 besties! Love those 2 people in my life!

The room has a small flat TV, wifi, phone, restroom, cabinet and a couch for a companion.

After settling in, hubby and I went for Burger King downstairs to eat. There are several restaurant in Makati Med, it feels like we didn't checked in a hospital at all! hehe!

That night, several nurses visited me to check on my bp and my sugar. I also tested for skin allergy and that really hurts!

My last meal should be 12 hours before the operation and the nurse went back to my room by 12 midnight just to tell me that I have to shower because they will be putting my IV already and I can't move much after the IV. After that, I went to sleep and waited for 7am for the prep.
